Budget 350 to 500 € for a birthday concert with a solo artist. Many singer-songwriters can play a calm or a livelier set on request.
Worth deciding early: should this be a concert everyone sits down for, or music in the background while people talk?

For a proper party, trios up to full bands work best, building the atmosphere with several instruments and percussion. Budget from about 800 €.

- Go for acts who are not yet well known
- Ask early and book with lead time

Split the cost
