Hanover may be known for its trade fairs, but it also has a lively music community — and you can bring that spirit directly to your event. Whether it's live music as a creative gift idea for the next birthday party, soulful singer-songwriters as a highlight for the bachelorette party, or a party band for a varied corporate event - at SofaConcerts you'll find suitable bands and solo musicians for every taste and every occasion.
Find artists in HanoverHanover is often underestimated as a cultural destination, but the city has a proud and varied music scene built on solid foundations. As one of Germany's major media and events hubs — home to the world's largest trade fair, the Hannover Messe — the city has long cultivated a taste for quality entertainment and live performance. Its Staatsoper is one of Germany's finest, the NDR Radiophilharmonie brings orchestral excellence to the city, and a thriving indie and alternative scene keeps Hanover's nightlife dynamic and ever-changing.
For private events, Hanover offers something particularly special: a close-knit music community where artists are genuinely invested in making occasions memorable rather than simply filling a slot. Whether you're looking for a solo guitarist for a garden party in the Südstadt, a jazz duo for a corporate dinner near the Maschsee, or a full band for a milestone birthday celebration, SofaConcerts can match you with the right musician to make the evening one your guests will talk about long afterwards.
Everything you need to plan, folded into the order you'll actually do it.
Settle the date, the space and roughly how many people are coming. Then browse the artist list for a singer-songwriter, a duo or a full band.
Send as many free enquiries as you like. Each artist replies with a non-binding offer, so you can weigh up a few before choosing. Settle the scope in writing in the booking system - that written record is what the contract is based on.
Confirming creates the contract and reserves your date. You deposit the fee plus the booking fee, which is held in trust and only released to the artist after the event. You then get their contact details to sort out the last bits.
Browse the acts playing in and around Hanover, send free enquiries and book the one that fits your evening.
