Find artists in KielKiel's position on the Baltic coast gives it a character unlike any other German city. The sea is never far away — and that open, horizons-facing spirit runs through the city's cultural life. Kiel Woche, one of the world's largest sailing events, draws hundreds of thousands of visitors and has long made the city a hotbed of outdoor concerts and live entertainment. Beyond that flagship event, Kiel has a lively music scene rooted in the student community around the Christian-Albrechts-Universität, with a rich programme of jazz, folk, and indie performances throughout the year.
That maritime openness and community warmth make Kiel an ideal setting for intimate live music events. Whether you're hosting a summer birthday party in one of the city's beautiful harbour-facing gardens, a house concert for friends and family, or a corporate event with live music as the centrepiece, SofaConcerts connects you with talented local and regional musicians who know how to create a warm, relaxed, and genuinely special atmosphere.
Everything you need to plan, folded into the order you'll actually do it.
Settle the date, the space and roughly how many people are coming. Then browse the artist list for a singer-songwriter, a duo or a full band.
Send as many free enquiries as you like. Each artist replies with a non-binding offer, so you can weigh up a few before choosing. Settle the scope in writing in the booking system - that written record is what the contract is based on.
Confirming creates the contract and reserves your date. You deposit the fee plus the booking fee, which is held in trust and only released to the artist after the event. You then get their contact details to sort out the last bits.
Browse the acts playing in and around Kiel, send free enquiries and book the one that fits your evening.
