An Unusual Idea for the Bachelorette Party: How Lena Was Surprised at Her Bachelorette Party

When you come home unsuspecting and your best friends surprise you with a sparkling-wine breakfast and, on top of that, your favorite band is waiting in your own living room... Caro tells us how she surprised her friend Lena for her bachelorette party with live music . She and her friends wanted to give Lena an unforgettable day and therefore came up with this unusual idea for the bachelorette party.
A Bachelorette Party in Your Own Four Walls
It is 9:00 on a Saturday morning. Lena is just leaving her apartment and heading toward the subway station. It was not so easy to get her out of the apartment this early. Under a pretext I finally managed to persuade her. Because today Lena's apartment is to be the location of her own bachelorette party, which I organized for her together with the girls, and of which Lena herself still has no idea.
One last checking glance to see whether Lena has really disappeared around the corner. Off we go. Now we have to hurry. Lena will not be out forever, and everything should be prepared by the time she returns. We come out of our hiding spots and enter the stairwell. Very practical that Lena entrusted me with a spare key for emergencies. Let us see whether I still have the key after today. Once in the apartment, we get straight to work. First and most important task: put the sparkling wine on ice.
A Bachelorette Party with a Difference
Lena had not expressed any special ideas or wishes for her bachelorette party. All that mattered to her was spending a lovely day together with her girls. That gave us a lot of room, so we let our creativity run free. We want this day to stay in Lena's memory for a long time, and so we came up with an unusual idea for the bachelorette party. Classics like a party stripper's performance, the vendor tray on the Reeperbahn or beginner pole-dancing courses were not up for debate for us. Anyone can do mainstream. We start the day with an extensive sparkling-wine breakfast and live music.
A Visit from Down Under
At 9:45 the doorbell rings. For a brief moment we all hold our breath - who could that be? In all the hectic I had forgotten for a moment that we are still expecting very special guests for Lena's celebration: the band. We decided to surprise Lena for her bachelorette party with a band. But not just any band - a band that Lena already knows from her trip to Australia two years ago. There she saw the brother duo AMISTAT live once and has been a big fan ever since. What luck that Lena's favorite band is currently touring Germany and can be booked for house concerts. The perfect gift for Lena's bachelorette party. She will not stop being amazed.
A Toast to the Bride-to-Be
The apartment is decorated, the sparkling wine is already fizzing in the glasses - everything is prepared. Lena should be back any moment. I was a little worried that Lena's living room might be too small for a sofa concert. But the twin brothers Josef and Jan set up their equipment with routine ease and turned Lena's living room into a small stage in no time. The doorbell rings. Quiet murmuring and nervous giggling goes through the room. I open the apartment door and see Lena standing in front of me with a puzzled look. "What is going on here?" is the only thing she manages to get out. "Surprise!" is my answer, and I place a flower crown on her head. You can literally see Lena's mind whirring as she realizes that she has just arrived at her own bachelorette party. She starts to beam. I lead her into the living room, where she is warmly welcomed with a beautiful song by AMISTAT. When Lena recognizes the brother duo, she is overwhelmed. The first tears of joy and emotion roll. Surprise successful!
A Bachelorette Celebration We Will Remember for a Long Time
During the concert there is a unique atmosphere. With their Australian lightness and relaxed manner, Josef and Jan immediately manage to spread good cheer. Between the songs they composed themselves, the twins repeatedly take some time to tell an anecdote from their lives and to get us singing along. After an hour the sparkling wine is empty and the concert is over. Time has passed far too quickly. But we do not let the guys go without an encore. Once more we celebrate the bride-to-be with her favorite song "We've got us", which we all sing along to at the top of our voices.
Wow, what an experience! Wonderfully funny and charming, AMISTAT made the bachelorette party something very special and managed to put a smile on everyone's face. Above all, Lena is completely happy. A different and truly unusual idea for the bachelorette party and a very special day that will be remembered for a long time. This will certainly not have been the last live concert for a bachelorette party. Four of us are not yet married, after all.
